Shorecrest Chargers Swim & Dive sealed their eleventh straight District titles this past Saturday! Despite the cold and windy conditions, the team muscled through and put up some excellent times to qualify fourteen girls and twelve boys to the Region Meet.
The girls team scored 514 points with the 200 Medley Relay (Athina Z., Courtney C., Taylor E. and Meredith L.) and the 400 Free Relay (Meredith L., Hannah B., Athina Z. and Courtney C.) taking first place. Individually the Chargers had Meredith L. leading the way with double wins in the 50 and 100 Free and Courtney C. with a win in the 100 Breast. The boys team scored 454 points with Mark M. (200 IM and 100 Fly) and Josh C. (50 Free and 100 Breast) leading the team with two wins each.
Depth on both the boys and girls teams contributed to both team victories.
