Two eighth grade students, Scott M. and Steven M., organized a concert to raise funds for two foundations as their eighth grade Passion Project. Concert for a Cause was held last Friday, May 15, 2015, and was a great success! Despite the nearby lightning and rain, the concert went on in the Breezeway instead of the softball field.
The event featured three bands - The Zombie Squirrels, Ember, and Gran Costa - and offered a number of great raffle prizes. The two eighth graders raised a total of $1,500 for Heifer International and The Craft Family Foundation. The students demonstrated excellent motivation and leadership through this passion project.
