Cross Country Regional Meet at Holloway Park

The Varsity Cross Country Chargers competed at the Regional Meet at Holloway Park on Friday, October 28. Senior Olivia R. finished second in her division and will advance to the State Meet. She earned a personal best time of 19:41 on the familiar and challenging course.
Although the Varsity Girls Team did not advance to the State Meet, the girls had solid performances. Isabelle S. finished in 20th place. 15th place was needed to advance to the State Meet, so she has already set her sights on next year’s qualifying race. Julia L., Chloe P., Jolie B. and Reilly K. all finished their seasons with solid performances.
Kyle H. competed in the Varsity Boys event, wrapping up his Charger Cross Country career at Holloway Park. While he did not advance to the State Meet, he finished his season with a very strong performance.
The State Meet will be held on Saturday, November 5 in Tallahassee. If you see Olivia, be sure to wish her luck!
