"Petit Prince" French Student Film

"Le Petit Prince" (in English, "The Little Prince") is one of the most popular, read, and published book of all times. It was written and illustrated by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, a French writer and pilot during the Second World War. It is viewed both as a story for children and grown-ups. The fifth grade French class watched the 2015 animated movie and read some of the most famous quotes from the book.
One of their favorites is: "On ne voit bien qu’avec le coeur, l’essentiel est invisible pour les yeux"
"It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye."
Students then wrote a "Petit Prince" play with highlights from the story, which they filmed. They made the fox, puppets, and props shown in the video below.
