Creating a culture of annual giving allows Shorecrest to ‘Be More,’ but reasons why donors choose to give can vary greatly from one family to another. The Shorecrest community is a special one. Over the course of the year we will be highlighting some of our Contributing Chargers, those members who have participated in Two Funds. One Mission., and sharing their stories of why they gave.
Today’s Contributing Chargers, Sue Shin ‘94 and Daniel Kim, are a returning family to our community. As an alumna of Shorecrest, Sue has seen the lasting results of a Shorecrest education and wants the same for her children. For this reason and more, Sue Shin ‘94 and Daniel Kim have chosen to support Two Funds. One Mission.
“The campus is unrecognizable from what it used to be – it feels beautiful, secure, and reflects the times. As new Shorecrest students, our children are benefitting from the generosity of others. We knew that we wanted to do our part in supporting not just the campus, but the teachers, administration, programs, and the whole educational ecosystem of School through Two Funds. One Mission. What benefits the community, benefits our children!”
This is a pivotal year to sustain the Annual Fund and finish Transform. When we make a gift to Shorecrest, we are really just giving to each other. Invest in our children, our teachers and our future and join us for our RISE Event on November 15; celebrating the Shorecrest community. More information to come soon, please save the date!
Every gift helps Shorecrest to fulfill its mission. Visit www.shorecrest.org/support to join our growing group of supporters. Our community - our children - are counting on us!
