The Varsity Boys Golf Chargers competed at the Regional Tournament on October 1 and earned 6th Place. Bill Bircher '22 shot an awesome score of 71. His round was the lowest for individuals and won him a spot in the State Championship next week representing Shorecrest.
Coach Miller shared the following about the Regional match:
"The varsity boys team had a fantastic season and ended with a record of 9-1. They placed 1st at Districts and put forth a good effort at Regionals. Unfortunately, the team didn't make it to States this year. However, the team remains competitive and many players have several more years to improve their game and form a strong team in the upcoming seasons. However, Bill Bircher '22 shot an excellent round of 71 and will advance to the State Championship as an individual. We wish Bill and Tucker Simpson '22, our other senior player, luck in their future endeavors."
