Feeling creative this Halloween? Love to read or have a favorite book character you want to paint on a pumpkin? Join Mrs. Giroud in the Hess Library & Makerspace for a Middle School pumpkin painting contest based on your favorite book or book character!
1. Choose a favorite book or book character to feature on your pumpkin.
2. Scope out the supplies and get ideas at the planning session during Study Hall on Friday, Oct. 14.
3. Come and paint/accessorize your pumpkin in the Makerspace Thursday, Oct. 20 & Friday, Oct. 21 (3:15-4:30pm).
4. Pumpkins due Monday, October 24.
This is a fun and FREE activity! Pumpkins and painting supplies will be provided to all participants by Mrs. Giroud and the MS/US Makerspace.
Judging will take place in the Hess Library on Monday, Oct. 24 - Thurs. Oct. 27. (Students & Staff will vote for the most creative character/book representation throughout the week.) Winners will be announced Friday, October 28. After judging, take your pumpkin home to decorate your own space!
