Upper School Students Tour Italy, Greece and Turkey

In July 2023, Shorecrest Teachers Lizz Angello, Steve Dionne, Ron Heller, Fatima Morlando, Kevin Perez and Ethan Updike chaperoned a 12-day, action-packed adventure to Italy, Greece and Turkey. They led 38 Shorecrest Upper School students, 1 Chargers parent, and 2 alumni parents.
The thrilling trip included sites at major cities such as Rome, Florence and Athens. The group travelled to the medieval, Italian town of Orvieto, were awestruck by the beauty and terrain of Meteora and Delphi in Greece, and enjoyed a cruise which included port stops in Santorini, Rhodes, and Çeşme in Turkey. While it was as hot as a pizza oven (the Parthenon was temporarily closed by the government due to the temperature), this did not interfere with the enjoyment of this unique trip!
