Carson Granese '25 is STEM Festival Finalist
Shorecrest senior Carson Granese '25 has been selected as one of 400 finalists from around the country for the 2025 National STEM Festival. The National STEM Festival celebrates the exceptional talents of our nation's youth and the innovative businesses driving progress. Students had to create a project that addresses a real-world problem from one of six themes: Aerospace Innovation, Environmental Stewardship, Future Food, Health & Medicine, Powering The Planet, or Tech For Good. Then they needed to utilize the scientific method or engineering design process to develop a unique solution.
Carson now moves into Round 2 which requires a video submission explaining his project and vision. Based on their videos, up to 130 National Champions will earn a trip to the National STEM Festival in Washington, D.C., in March 2025. A highlight of the Festival is the showcase of over 125 exceptional student innovations. Attendees can also participate in mentor sessions, engage in hands-on STEM activities, explore a public expo, and benefit from networking opportunities, among other exciting offerings.
