Athletic Clearance for Winter Sports Deadlines

Students wishing to participate on a Shorecrest MS soccer team or a MS, JV or V basketball team must be cleared through the Athletic Clearance system to be eligible to participate on our soccer and basketball teams.

An EL2 form AND a soccer or basketball waiver must be fully completed and uploaded to the athlete's Athletic Clearance account by the dates listed below in order for their clearance information to be reviewed for the first practice/tryout. Any clearances or additional paperwork submitted after these dates will not guarantee an opportunity for the athlete to participate in the first day of practice/tryouts.

• MS Boys Soccer - Friday, October 20
• MS Girls Soccer - Friday, October 20
• MS Boys Basketball, JV Boys Basketball & V Boys Basketball - Friday, October 27
• MS Girls Basketball & V Girls Basketball - Friday, October 27

Please take care of your athlete's clearance right away to prevent an athlete from not being able to participate on the first day of practice/tryouts. You can determine your child's athletic clearance status by logging into the athletic clearance account that you created for your child. The system will clearly state whether your child has been cleared for their sport or not.

Soccer and basketball schedules and practice information are posted on the Shorecrest website. This information is posted about a month before each season begins.
