Chargers Varsity Football Wins in Quarterfinals, 35-8!

Shorecrest Chargers Varsity Football played Ocala Christian in the Quarterfinals. The Chargers won 35-8! The team advances to the state semifinals and will host Donahue Catholic on November 10.
The team opened the '23 playoffs with another well rounded performance by all three phases of the game. The defense held the opponent to one touchdown, the offense was consistent and special teams play was just as strong. Nickolas Bearden '25 led the offense with 4 rushing touchdowns, which included a 50 yard run for the team's first score, and a 21 yard touchdown pass to Ahmad Crumity '25. The defense provided another dominating game headed by 19 tackles by Ben Worman '24.
