Shorecrest School

Livestreaming Athletic Events

Middle School News

Shorecrest has partnered with the National Federation of State High School Associations to participate in the NFHS Network School Broadcast Program. Through this program, Shorecrest will be able to produce and livestream professional grade broadcasts of athletic and other school events. In partnership with the Upper School Shorecrest Broadcasting Club, our students will have the opportunity to work with, learn from and support these live broadcasts.

The anticipated launch of the network is in November 2020. Because sporting events are without in-person spectators currently, Shorecrest will provide access to livestreamed events free of charge. When events once again allow in-person spectators, online viewers may expect to pay admission to view the online games. More information is forthcoming.

In the meantime, until the system is up and running, students from the Broadcasting Club will livestream home games via @ChargersBeMore on Twitter. Simply visit https://twitter.com/ChargersBeMore at the regularly scheduled competition time, and you will be able to watch the student-broadcasted games from any device. Any matches held in the Crisp Gym will also be streamed to YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/user/ShorecrestPrep

The first game the Broadcasting Club will livestream will be Friday, September 25 - varsity football vs. Lakeside Christian at 7pm. View the full game, and hear from the Club before and after the game and at halftime. Read more from the club here.
