Roughly 70 participants joined Shorecrest & Clean Coast Initiative on the sand of Upham Beach for an educational Beach Clean Up on Saturday, April 23. Over 71 pounds of trash was collected - most of it was cigarette butts and very tiny pieces of plastic.
Sandra the Seashell Expert was on site teaching kids about shells, and TrashCaulin, a TikToker who cleans beaches, joined in as well. Thank you to Woody's Car Shack for the posters and goodie bags!
